Technical Meeting and Old Stuffs of Thai!

January 21st, 2018

Sunday lovely morning in Thai, in PNRU exactly. Second day in Thai but the first day visited Teachers Training and Education of Phranakhon Rajabhat University. We were picked up by Bobby, one of our buddies in PNRU, at 9.45am and we were going to the faculty together. The faculty was nearby the dormitory so we decided to walk there. The meeting held in the English Education Meeting room called CTE, in the first floor. The room was nice and tidy also comfortable. There, we met several teachers of Education Department that participated in the SEA Teachers program. We started the meeting with introducing our names and several motivation to follow SEA Teachers program. Then, the teachers gave us some advice to teach and live well in the dormitory.

After the technical meeting session, our buddies accompanied us to go to a place where we could see the old types of foods, drinks, medicines and many more from Thailand. It did not mean that the place were an old abandoned place. It was actually a wonderful place and it was a good place to take pictures.

Bobby, our buddy, said “This old stuffs is saved to show that these kind of stuffs existed in the past. So, the young generation will not forget about the history”.

I learned that things got old, several might be forgotten and abandoned. Therefore, we as the youth have to prevent the extinction of our culture and uniqueness of our city. Especially for a teacher, to teach students we could not neglect the fact about history and culture of our students. Thus to become a better teacher in the future, it would be better if I considered the culture background of my student to meet their wants and needs. Probably, it was enough to write for today. Tomorrow is still waiting for me to be discovered.
