Sawasdee-kha Thailand!

January 20th, 2018
First and foremost, I am Arma Bahar. A 4th year Students of English Study Program at Faculty of Teachers Training and Education in Pattimura University. Ambon is my city which located in east part of Indonesia. I came to Thailand not without reason, I joined a program called SEA Teachers. The program aimed to give Pre - Service Teacher across South East Asia opportunity to discover new experience in teaching. In which they would go abroad and teach the students from another country. It had been held for 2 years and I was the member of the 5th batch. The fact that this was the first time our University applied for this program, the Dean, the lectures and also the students were excited for this program.
The program started on January 22nd 2018 then would be ended on February 18th 2018. There were 5 students from Pattimura University. Three of us, including me, were majoring in English, another one was majoring Biology and the last was majoring math. We boarded from  Ambon to Jakarta on January 20th at 8.25 am and boarded from Jakarta to Bangkok at 12.50 pm. Arrived at Suvarnabhumi airport at 4.30 pm. Picked up by two students from Phranakhon Rajabhat University (the receiving University). They were James and Phaul. About the dorm, it was neat and tidy, I have a nice roommate also from Mataram University, NTB, Indonesia. Her name was Hayani. After placed our belongings at the dorm nearby the campus, we went to have dinner with our buddies. We were sharing many stories regarding their experiences as the member of SEA Teacher batch 4 in Indonesia. It was a fun night with friendly new buddies. I recognized that communication was really important between people. We were social creature, we could not live alone. We need other people to be our friends, our guide, our tutor and our teacher who somehow could teach us about life. Therefore having them as our new friends was a brand new great experience. Phranakhon Rajhabat University, thank you very much for the warm welcome and the excellent first impression.
As the part of documentation, here were some pictures of our trip from Ambon to Thailand!
